Heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration are collectively called HVACR, and HVACR technicians are the professionals who work in this trade. At Florida Trade Academy’s HVACR Pre-Apprenticeship program, you will receive expertly-led hands-on training to install, repair, service, and troubleshoot a full range of residential and commercial air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems.
Our HVAC pre-apprenticeship program is designed to prepare you with the hands-on training, practical skills, and core courses needed to get started toward career success and satisfaction in the trades. Upon successful completion of our program, trainees earn Core and Level 1 NCCER trade certifications as well as *2,000 hours of on-the-job training credit, which qualifies you for employment with an organization that can sponsor your continued education as a registered apprentice.
